Mission
Armadale Public School is a culturally diverse community of learners committed to engage all stakeholders - students, teachers, parents, our community, alike - in becoming a ‘whole’ community of leaders and learners, where leaders become learners and learners become leaders. Our focus of the ‘Three C’s’ – Communication, Cooperation and sense of Community, encourages all to develop into capable and concerned citizens with the skills, knowledge and attitudes, that model respect and responsibility, in an ever changing Canadian society.
History
Armadale Public School opened for classes in September of 1990. Our school and community members have worked as an integral team to make Armadale Public School the focal point of our community at large.
Our school motto is "Learning from Each Other".
Up until 2008, the school mascot was the Anaconda entwined around a ‘storybook’ letter " A", symbolizing the inclusion and strength we gather from all - students, staff, parents and community. Our new school mascot is the Eagle - strong and proud, we will soar to reach our goals.
On May 7, 2015, Armadale PS celebrated "25 years of Harmony", with a community party that honoured the rich history of our school.
